Lobby or reception in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

Hotel is in great position close to public transport and Asakusa also on the Sumida River which is good for a long stroll along the river path. Nice to have a soak in the spa after long walks around Tokyo. The #42 bus stops right outside the front door giving quick, cheap travel to Tokyo Station and others along the route. Return stop is only about 100 meters (maybe less) on other side of the street.

Breakfast in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

Typical APA hotel room nothing bad or exceeded my expectation. Fresh daily towels and cleaning of the room every 3 days. Good location between train stations. 10min wall from the shrine and busy Asakusa streets. Cute cafes around. I would, however, stay again as it's really for sleeping and showering.

Breakfast in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

1. The location is very close to subway station, can get to Narita airport directly. 2. The community is calm and comfortable, just besides the Tokyo skystreet. 3. The room is very comfortable and enough space compared to other hotel in Japan. 4. Hot spring in 12th floor is amazing, must try!

Restaurant/places to eat in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

The room was small but that was expected as it was clearly stated in the website. My daughter and I managed just well with our luggages. It was well located to two train stations -making it easy for us to move around. The room was clean. Even though they do not clean the room on a daily basis, they provided clean towels daily. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak reasonably good English. There are 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. If you are OK with small space --this is value for money.

Property building in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

APA hotels are brilliant and this one is the most comfortable yet affordable of them all. Soft beds, all lights switchable from the bed, small but well organized room, big desk, lots of sockets for work. Warm yet ventilated. rooms have air cleaners and humidifiers, kettle and small fridge. Two different kinds of shoes and spa-kimono. You get new towels, green tea, and bathroom utensils daily (brushes, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbands, razors, etc.). This hotel also has the best public spa on the 12th floor which is small but with an awesome view to the Skytree and lit up bridges over Sumida river. The spa has two pools, indoor and smaller outdoor, super warm water circa 41-43 degrees celsius, 3 wash stations, and a standing shower. The hotel is close to Senso-ji temple complex and the Skytree. There is a direct train Skyaccess to the Narita airport, it’s a little slower than the Skyliner, but 2x cheaper.

Lobby or reception in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

My boyfriend and I only stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, but we can definitely say that it was an incredible experience. The reception staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and have many facilities. In addition, the hotel has a public bathroom on the upper floor (which is divided for men and women), with hot water and a bathtub that has a small view of Tokyo Skytree, so it's beautiful at night!! Not to mention the location of the hotel, which, although it's not in the most popular areas of Tokyo, is a very beautiful area, with a lot of Japanese culture and essence. It was definitely the best hotel we stayed at in Tokyo and it's definitely worth the trip!

Breakfast in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

Service was amazing. After a couple of nights in a room with musty sheets and next to the elevator with people talking and waking me up a few times a night, I asked to be moved. Not only did they move me, but the room was ready right then and gave me a room on the 12th floor - very convenient to the amenities. First room and women's bath had a beautiful view of the river and Tokyo Skytree. The bath was great and rarely very busy. Room was very clean. Very convenient between 2 metro stations and a bus stop right out the front door.

Lobby or reception in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

I came with some expectations after reading a lot of reviews, so my experience was very positive. Basically if you don't have high expectations, you will have a good time! -The location is just perfect, close to subway stations and just few minutes walking to Sensoji. -Outside it's noisy but the windows have good isolation -The amenities provided are very good -Very clean

Breakfast in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

The location is a convenient 4min walk from Kuramae station (there are 2 Kuramae stations so it's the one further north) and 10min walk to Asakusa station. It has an on-site restaurant (with special offers for guests) and two onsens (one indoors and one open-air) with a great view of the river and Tokyo Skytree. We were allowed to leave our suitcases before check-in, although they weren't secured in a room but left out in the lobby with a tag on them. The hotel is not responsible for the safekeeping of any valuables so be aware. The rooms are cleaned every three days but a new set of toiletries, robes and towels are left out every day.

River view in APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

What I like about the hotel is that it is located near 2 station(kuramae and asakusa station), the onsen is a plus, after a whole day of walking, dipping my tired body in the onsen is so much relaxing though it could get crowded in the evening. The hotel is also near a convenient store and a grocery store just across the street. The staff is accomodating and will help you if you have questions though sometimes we didn't understand each other. I can also see the Skytree in the onsen and just a few walk from the hotel, I can chill near the river with the view of tokyo sky tree
